CHallengers!
In Challengers!, you build a powerful deck of warriors and battle opponents in fast-paced duels. This deck-management game challenges you to recruit the right cards, remove weak ones, and outmaneuver your opponents to capture the flag. With the Beach Cup expansion, you'll compete in the Giga-Tournament format where every match counts. The game combines strategy, luck, and tactical decision-making—can you become the ultimate champion?

About the tournament
We host daily tournament sessions in our dedicated tent. The focus is on competition and camaraderie: players face off in intense one-on-one battles while cheering each other on. A session runs with up to 16 players competing in the Giga-Tournament format. Our volunteer manages the tournament bracket, explains the rules, ensures fair play, and presents prizes to the winners. Whether you're a seasoned strategist or trying the game for the first time, there's a place for you at the table.

Registration
Sign up on-site at the registration board at the tent entrance. Registration for the next session opens as soon as the current session begins. Come by to check when there's a spot available in the next tournament!

HEAT
This year at Mysticon, we’re unleashing the ultimate showdown for fans of HEAT. Expect roaring competition, razor sharp overtakes, and the kind of high octane tension that makes every card flip feel like a burst of nitro.
In HEAT, every turn is a thrilling choice: push your engine to the limit for raw speed, or cool down just enough to survive the next brutal corner. Manage your deck, master your timing, and feel the adrenaline spike as you rocket toward the finish line.

Whether you’re a seasoned veteran who knows every corner of the circuit, or a daring newcomer hungry for glory, this tournament is your chance to prove you’ve got the nerves, the instincts, and the raw finesse to dominate the race.

kubb

Join us for Kubb, a classic Scandinavian outdoor game! Suitable for all ages, Kubb combines skill and strategy as players knock down kubbs and aim for the king.
The tournament is organised by the Kubb Federation vzw. This organisation shapes the Kubb competition in Belgium. Founded in 2015 and active in the kubb world ever since — both within Belgium and, since 2018, across Europe, where they were among the founding members of the EKC, together with Switzerland and Germany.

crokinole
Join the Crokinole Tournament at Mysticon and show off your skills! Play this classic Canadian disc game and compete for the win. Whether you're an expert or a complete beginner, everyone is welcome.

Players can sign up at the designated tent, where they'll be assigned a seat and an opponent. If needed, you'll receive an explanation and tips on how to play Crokinole. Each player's name and contact details are noted. Every match played counts towards a rankings table — no strings attached. At the end of the day, the scores are reviewed and the player with the highest score wins a prize. The next day, the points tally resets back to zero.

Magic:
the gathering
Magic: The Gathering is one of the world’s best-known collectible card games, in which players face off using decks filled with spells, creatures and magical effects.
Each game is a tactical duel where you manage resources, create clever combinations and try to defeat your opponent. With countless cards and playstyles, no two games are ever quite the same. ​
For visitors who already know the game, or who want to continue playing after the demo (see "games"), there will also be daily tournaments in the Sealed format.
In this format, you purchase six play boosters on site for €35, use them to build your own deck, and then play several rounds against other participants.
The focus is on a fun, casual atmosphere and enjoyable matches, but depending on the number of games you win, you can also earn prizes. ​
Registration can be done on site at the organiser’s table. You can register from the start of that day’s session. Be sure to arrive on time, as spots for each tournament are limited.
